Who we are

SKG Financial is an accounting firm based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, business name and anything else you enter when you book a call or send us a message.
• Information from the free tools. Where you choose to book a call after using the fee estimator, deadline checker or self-check, the inputs you provided are passed along with the booking so we arrive at the call already knowing your situation. Using a tool without booking sends us nothing.
• Basic technical information. Standard web server and analytics data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type.

Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare for a call
• To provide the services you engage us for
• To meet our professional, tax and record-keeping obligations
• To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve them

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as our scheduling and client relationship platform, our email provider, and our accounting and document software, and with government authorities such as the Canada Revenue Agency where you have authorised us to act for you or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry information is retained for up to two years. Client records are retained for at least six years after the end of the last tax year they relate to, as required for Canadian tax records.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies needed to make it work and to measure traffic in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any part of the site.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@skgfinancial.com and we will respond within 30 days.
